We work with clients from many different sectors and industries, and reflect that diversity within our own highly experienced consulting team.

Carmela Clarke M.Ed. MBA
Carmela began her career in education as a secondary school teacher of English before moving into further education. During the fifteen years spent working in a number of colleges, in a variety of roles, she progressed from main grade lecturer to assistant principal of South Birmingham College.
Her experience includes links with industry, business development and bespoke training and consultancy. She was responsible for setting up one of the first college companies and has provided training for North West Water, Marks and Spencer, British Rail and Kodak. She has worked closely with College Principals, Learning and Skills Councils and is a former governor of the Open College Federation.
She has worked in Germany for an International Media Consultancy and in South Africa as a management consultant and liaison agent for a collaborative venture between English and South African Colleges. Her clients include Johnson &Johnson and Index stores. She is a visiting lecturer at the Graduate Business Studies School, University of Cape Town. As the founder of Accermarque consultancy, she regularly advises organisations on strategic planning and performance acceleration.
Alison Jones
Alison is a communications professional with broad experience in the
public and commercial sectors. She ha had twelve years experience in
local government with two years in financial services managing the communication
of a major acquisition and change programme. From 1997 to 2004 worked
as employee communications consultant with the world’s largest
advertising and communication business - advising and delivering projects
for a variety of clients around employee research, internal change communication
and the writing and design of materials to support corporate projects.
Alison has a degree in history from University of Sheffield – Diploma
in Human Resource Development (from Liverpool John Moores Business School).
Member of the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development.
Diane Norris LLB, MA
Geographically Di’s career has followed a journey from London, via Lancashire and Merseyside to the Highlands of Scotland, and has been equally professionally diverse although a common strand has been an enthusiasm for equalities and Human Rights.
Di began teaching sculpture and art in London .After a time bringing up her three sons she took a Law degree and whilst teaching law in Merseyside studied part time for a Masters in Crime, Deviance and Social Policy. A move to Inverness meant a steep learning curve in terms of a transformation to Scottish Law, which she taught, specialising in European Union and Employment Law. She has maintained her personal and professional development by studying Management modules from a distance learning MBA from Herriot-Watt and an SVQ IV in management, and has recently gained a postgraduate certificate in Social Services Leadership.
Di undertook a project for the Highland Domestic Abuse Forum and was the author of a Domestic Abuse Strategy for the whole of Highland. Her current post, of Support Service Manager for Albyn Housing Society, involves managing a team of workers providing Housing Support for over 100 vulnerable adults. Di has chaired the Clinical Ethics Committee for NHS Highland over the last three years as lay representative on a group made up largely of health personnel.
